Afghanistan IED (Stop them now)

 

PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE! I am a 7 year combat engineer veteran. I wanted to point out to you so that you could pass this on and maybe get congress to act on it.
We are losing a lot of our BEST SOLDIERS!!! Green Berets are so highly trained that our government spends around $1 million dollars on each one of them.
HAVING THEM RIDING THROUGH ‘AFGHANISTAN’ IN HUMVEES TO ME IS SENSELESS!!! FIRE BASE COBRA NEEDS SOME M1 A2 TANKS IN THERE… WITH THAT COMES MECHANICS, DRIVERS, AND SUPPLIES SUCH AS FUEL.
Whenever a Green Beret leaves Cobra the Taliban know and radio chatter picks up. These M1 Tanks can kick some you know what over there!!! Taliban will most likely try to blow up the fuel trucks first!!! Therefore cutting the supply line… Like Rommel once said: "We need to be smarter, and stronger than our enemies!"
In closing: I CAME UP WITH AN IDEA… ‘IF’ THERE ARE M1 A2′S SENT TO AFGHANISTAN… DROP THE BIG OLD HEMIT!!! IT’S A MOVING TARGET!!! I AM HOPING YOU CAN CONVINCE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE ‘FUEL TANKERS IN DISGUISE’….. Build around the Fuel Tankers tank and make it square and armored…. Then it can ride in the convoy with the Tanks!!!
PLEASE……… STOP SENDING OUR BEST OUT IN HUMVEES!!!! ALL THE ROAD SIDE BOMBS SEEM TO BE HITTING HUMVEES!
